  • Blueprint Crafts Online Classes — Through April 16th, Blueprint is offering completely FREE access to all their online crafts and hobby classes! These normally range from $25 to $100 per class, so this is a REALLY great deal! Choose from classes like quilting, cooking, drawing, painting, photography, and tons more. They even have family-friendly classes where you can do projects as a whole family!

  • Nikon Photography Classes — For the entire month of April, Nikon is offering FREE photography classes to anyone who registers for an account.

  • Fender Play Online Music Lessons — Fender Play is currently offering 3 months of FREE online music lessons. Choose from guitar, bass, or ukulele!

  • Ravensburger Online Puzzles — If you love puzzles, you can put together online puzzles with family or friends for FREE! Simply make a user name and join an existing puzzle with others or start a new one. You can’t create a private puzzle group, but just tell your friends which puzzle you are working on and they can join you.

Tired of TV shows? Check out these options.

  • Broadway Plays and Musicals- These days, many stage productions are filmed for distribution on streaming services. Many classic plays and musicals are available online right now.

  • Nightly Met Opera Streams- While the Met has canceled live performances, it is offering nightly streams. Available across streaming apps, a new classic performance will be air every night.

  • Seattle Symphony Broadcasts- The Seattle Symphony plans to share performances with everyone during these uncertain times. Check their broadcasts page to see their latest program scheduling.

  • Visit Famous Museums- Famed museums like the National Museum of Natural History in Washington, DC, and London's British Museum are offering online experiences, allowing viewers to learn about the exhibits in the museums from the comfort of their homes.   • Tour A Theater- Although they're physically closed to the public right now, theaters and opera houses like Carnegie Hall in New York are available through Google Arts & Culture. You can see what other theaters are available to tour here.

  • Watch Chefs Fire It Up In The Kitchen- Famous chefs are offering cooking tips and advice for those in isolation or quarantine during the pandemic, which you can read more about here.

  • Tour Famous Landmarks Around the World- Google's Arts & Culture section comes in handy for checking out the sights from home. You can explore some of the wonders of the world online, including the  Taj Mahal in New Delhi, India; the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France; or even the Sydney Opera House in Australia.

  • Tour NASA- NASA's free Space Center Houston appvoffers a tour of its educational facility, as well as VR experiences and astronaut selfies.

  • Watch A Concert- The music platform TIDAL is live-streaming 12-hour concerts for free. Five different genres will be featured throughout the week of March 23, including Latin, Pop, Hip-Hop, Electronic, and R&B. You can stream the concerts here.

  • Take A Cooking Class- You can't go to London's famous market right now, but you can get the next best thing thanks to its online cooking classes. The famous market is streaming classes on its Facebook and Instagram pages.



Get Educated

Free education opportunities are not just available for the kids right now! Lots of free courses are available for adults.


Use all that free time to enroll in some college courses through the platforms Coursera and EdX.  All of the classes on the platforms are free to audit, and there are hundreds of courses in a variety of subject matters available from top universities, including Princeton, Harvard, and Yale.

Because how many walks around the neighborhood can we go on before we get bored? Try these other options!


  • CorePower Yoga- is giving everyone free access to a new collection of online classes every week so you can keep your practice moving — wherever you are.

  • Yoga With Adriene- Adriene’s yoga channel is immensely popular and perfect for beginners who just might need a little extra zen and a good way to workout at home. The best part? You don’t even need advanced equipment.

  • Down Dog- fitness apps for free. All of Down Dog’s apps, Down Dog, Yoga for Beginners, HIIT, Barre and 7 Minute Workout are free until May 1st. To all students and teachers, Down Dog is offering their school memberships for free until July 1.

  • Planet Fitness home work-ins.- Every day at 4 p.m. PT, Planet Fitness, is live-streaming a workout for those at home. You don’t even need advanced equipment to follow along.

  • Golds Gym is offering free access to its app,Goldsamp, until the end of May, where more than 600 audio and video workouts along with DJ mixes get you ready to work up a sweat.
